I have always found History extremely interesting; I enjoy being taught about our earths pass, as in hearing about who where the first humans to step foot into certain countries. Furthermore I appear to like hearing about the men that over took these natives human’s lands. Through the reading one can get the impression that the Europeans took over most of the lands, even though the Europeans were very strong men so were the Russians and England men and they also succeeded with taking over other humans countries. However at a certain point in the pass the stronger countries wanted to over through the poor countries whom had no weapons or any type of equipment to protect themselves. There was a moment in history where all of these countries help each other out. They would trade their goods and make money off of each other. Some Countries had goods like spices and other countries would sell fur which would be use as clothing. Even though the Natives Americans were the ones who would hunt for the fur the Notre Americans would pay them for it at a low price and they would sell it for more money to other countries. The Serbians would hunt for fur as well for the Russians but they would make no money off of the fur. The Europeans where people who would live to travel the world and fine new things. They did find a culture whom were black skin people. The Europeans were very light skin tall blue or green eyes as they said in the pass they were very much beautiful then the black skin people, at least that’s what they believed . They decided to take them home with them and have them as their servants. Out of the whole reading the slavery part graved my attention because I find it very depressing that these innocent people had to go through so much pain. It makes me wonder what had happened if they Europeans had never found the Africa would their still be racism?

Trafficking
I have never given so much thought to the sex slave trafficking issue. The sex salve trafficking problem has been going on for so many years. Sadly to say but I have never paid much attention to this problem that we are dealing with today. After reading the handout and the book called “The Road Lost Innocence” by Somaly Mam, the handout and book have not only informed me with more information about the sex trafficking situation but has also made me feel heartbroken. Just the thought of hearing that these girls at such a young age have to lose their virginity to grown men is very disturbing. The outrageous thing is that these girls have really no freedom and cannot speak up for themselves and say no to these men. This whole problem is ridiculous it makes me wonder if we really ever got rid of slavery. While reading about this issue I felt like it kept on getting worst, it was extremely depressing to read that some of these young girls’ parents allow something this horrible to happen to their daughters just for money. I understand that they are living in a awful community but way would one give up their own daughters life just to get more money, I guess for some of us money can buy happiness. My major thought after reading about this whole sex trafficking topic, was how do these men and family members that allow this issue to happened feel? , because some of these girls die or never make it back home and are forced to be a prostituted. I’m very glad that I have decided to take this history class do to the fact that we well be helping these enceinte girls have a much better future. This problem has made me really open my eyes, it has made me notice that my life is not as bad as I once that it was. These girls have not only made me extremely sad but have inspired me because they have been through so much and they are still fighting and hoping for a much better life.
